I would like to bring to your attention three motions that were introduced by Councilmember LaBonge this morning in City Council:
- CF 14-0126 Beachwood Canyon/Hollywoodland Area
- Traffic and Public Safety Challenges / Assessment
- This motion instructs LADOT, LAPD, LAFD and Park Rangers to report on their findings in the Beachwood Canyon/Hollywoodland area and to provide recommendations for remedies to area challenges.
- CF 14-0127 Deronda Drive
- Traffic Congestion / Safe Traffic Access / Analysis
- This motion instructs LAPD, LAFD, City Planning, Park Rangers and the CAO to provide an analysis of the situation on Deronda Drive and to provide recommendations for possible remedies.
- CF 14-0123 6100 Block of Mulholland Highway
- Install Gate / Prohibit Vehicular Access Past 6105 Mulholland
- This motion instructs the Bureau of Engineering, City Attorney and CAO to report on the feasibility of a gate on the 6100 block of Mulholland Highway that would prohibit vehicular access past 6105 Mulholland.
