Transform your frontage into a public park?
The groups themselves MAY or MAY not be “legal”: e.g., where is the vehicle that conveyed them here and where is the business license of the hike leader. Even if they got here legally and the group was not-for-profit, can you imagine having this take place under your kitchen window if you were unfortunate enough to purchase a house five years or more ago before your front stoop became surreptitiously changed into a public park?
Groupings like this are more and more frequent, trampling the environment, posing fire dangers, and twisting the peace and quiet of our residents who live adjacent this illicit entrance to the park. Hopefully images such as this bring it home how awful this situation is.
Thank you for the work your office did yesterday during the fire – and let us proceed together to toward a future that erases this unsanctioned transformation of our neighborhood into a public park without public facilities and without due process of law.
