Status of the proposed initiative:
The proponents have changed the name of the initiative from “Californians for Community Planning” to “Stop the Sacramento Land Grab”
The initiative was filed on 8/25 and is in a 30-day comment period.
Within 6 weeks, the Attorney General will then issue a title and ballot summary.
Then, the proponents have 180 days to gather 1.3M signatures to qualify for the 2022 ballot.
