Hollywoodland is a Preferential Parking District.

Is your Hollywoodland home in the preferential parking district?

The city council designates certain parts of the city as parking districts. Preferential parking districts (PPD Parking Permits) and overnight parking districts will be designated with signs. To park there without risk of a parking citation, you must have a valid parking permit. All other state and municipal parking laws remain in effect in parking districts.

  • If you live in the PPD, you will need to acquire stickers for your cars, and hang tags for your weekend guests.

  • You can get 2 stickers per household, as well as 2 hang-tags

  • Tags are only necessary from 9am-6pm on weekends and holidays.

  • Should you be holding a weekend event and require more guest permits, you can print 1-day slips online once you have established your account. 1-day slips cost $1/each.

You must apply for your stickers in person, to establish yourself as a resident of the PPD. You may do this at any of the following locations:

  • Van Nuys Service Center: 6309 Van Nuys Blvd., #103, Los Angeles, CA 91406

  • West LA Area: 1575 Westwood Blvd., Suite #100B, Los Angeles, CA 90024

  • Mid-Wilshire Service Center: 3333 Wilshire Blvd., Suite 3337, Los Angeles, CA 90010

  • Downtown: 312 W. 2nd St., Los Angeles, CA 90012

You need to bring the following items to your appointment:

  • Your Driver’s License

  • Your Car Registration: your car must be registered to your PPD address to qualify.

  • Supporting evidence of your Hollywoodland PPD address – e.g., a utility bill.

  • Cash, check, money order, Visa, or MasterCard for payment.
