Crime and Safety Meeting 1/20/25

On January 20, 2025, Hollywoodland resident Justin Burnett hosted a community meeting on crime and safety at Besant Lodge. Thank you to all who attended and watched online. The aim of this meeting was to come together to learn and remind ourselves what we can do to address the challenges we face, following the mobilization of many residents via the Hollywoodland Neighborhood App. From hardening our homes against fire to having an effective neighborhood watch in place, there are many initiatives we can take on as residents, individual homeowners and as a community as a whole. The Hollywoodland Homeowners Association is the organisation that can coordinate many of these initiatives as we move forward. In addition to liaising with the City of LA, we are setting up working groups to take rapid action to protect ourselves. Let's keep talking and planning together!
