3. for those Hollywoodland Residents who enjoy seeing the early Hollywoodland in a movie, check out on YouTube movies, Officer 13, starring Monte Blue and Lila Lee. Mickey Rooney was then known as Mickey McGuire from the Mickey McGuire shorts.
   the two motorcycle officers stop the vegetable truck on the West side of Beachwood as he is going south on Beachwood, just above the Market and Gas Station. Later on there is a chase and we see them going down one of the hills of Hollywoodland.
   and a little later in the chase of Lila Lee and Bad Guy? the shot is on Mulholland above Cahuenga and below you can see where Cahuenga and Mulhulland meet and how Highland/Cahuenga Pass is 4 lanes. Two lanes going north and two lanes going south.
   When the officers stop at “Grams” house it looks like it could be in Hollywood but it is definitely below the Hollywoodland gates.
   You will notice that it doesn’t seem like there was any security when filming near the market, There is a father and child on sidewalk from East Side of Beachwood above market.

   if i see any more of Hollywoodland in the movies, i will let you know. I just finished watching all the features at http://www.cinecon.org this labor Day Weekend at the Egyptian theater. None of the films had Hollywoodland in BG.
